Known as Kurobuta pork in Japan, Berkshire is to pork what Wagyu is to beef, and comes from a heritage breed pig. With a long history that goes back some 300 years in England, this black-and-white variety is highly regarded for rich, juicy, tender, and flavorful meat that melts on the tongue. Known as the “black pig” to many, the superior taste of Berkshire makes it the ideal choice for everything from tasty, barbecued chops to moist, delicious hams.

Our hogs are sustainably raised on 7 acres of pecan groves and hardwood forests, where they roam freely, enjoying a natural diet and stress-free environment. We believe in sustainable farming practices that not only benefit your palate & health, but also support the well-being of our animals and the environment.

How It Works: 

Select your whole hog package and place your order online. Once your hog is reserved, we will provide you with a harvest date and custom processing form. Note: If you order a half hog we will wait until that hog is fully reserved before providing a harvest date/processing form.
